🏁 Bolt's Law

↔️ ~24 mile mile circuit ride (time in saddle 3.5-4 hours)

👀 This is a classic cross-country route for North East bikers. We'll climb an ancient road towards Hexham, are rewarded with stunning 360 degree vistas of the moorlands, cross the River Derwent on a nice bridge and finish with the Final Descent - the North East's most popular natural downhill segment.

✌️ This will be a legendary ride out! There are no severe drops or cliffs, so even if you're a beginner mountain biker you will be just fine. However, this ride has some pretty long climbs that will almost certainly make everybody's legs screech with pain. Of course that's followed by the pleasure of racing all of it back down, too.

☕️ Option for a pitstop after 13 miles at a wonderful tearoom in Blanchland

❄️ In winter, we're checking the forecast 3-4 days before the event to make sure conditions will be safe to ride.
