Manchester Pride 2022: Sunday Social

Who's ready for Manchester Pride 2022!

It's Pride 2022! Join us in the middle of Manchester's Gay Village to enjoy a few drinks and fantastic atmosphere as we meet up with friends from OutdoorLads, catch up with guys from previous events. This is a great event for new and existing members where new members can come along and find out what we are all about.

Since Manchester Pride is busy busy busy, we will do our tried and tested tradition of having our social outside Via on Canal Street.

Important: You will need to have a pride wristband to get access to the village - either a Sunday pass or Weekend pass.

Social events provide a support network for local members. They are an ideal way for existing members to catch up with each other and find out more about upcoming events.

If you've not been on any of our events before, this is a great opportunity to chat to existing members and leaders about the group and to find out how friendly and welcoming we are.  Our members will no doubt regale you with the fun and giggles had on their events and our Leaders will be keen to encourage you to come along to more events - be it walks, mountain days, hostels or cycles.

If you are in any way uncertain about joining OutdoorLads, are concerned about fitness/ability or whether OutdoorLads is for you, come along, give us a go, have a drink with us and see what we are all about.

Once the main social ends, some or all of us may well decide to head elsewhere in the Village to other bars or clubs, to catch the entertainment.

OTHER PRIDE WEEKEND ACTIVITIES:
Thursday (Pre-Pride):
Sign up and get ready to toss your handbag, chuck your sausage in the hoop or maybe don your finest heels (or whatever is left in the box of goodies) and do us proud on the high heeled egg and spoon race! We need a team of 4-6 and plenty of people just to cheer us on and line the street with Red OutdoorLads t shirts! 

Saturday:
Did you know we are participating in the Pride Parade on the Saturday? We will have a large float this year! Sign up here!

After the parade, how about a short afternoon walk that explores some of Manchester's green byways and interesting sights? This could be the walk for you!  It's a 5 mile / 8 kilometre linear walk.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement

You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend. 

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who has recently tested positive for Covid-19, is asked not to attend.
