Kebabs and Control Rooms

14 NOV UPDATE - I have increased to 15 since there was a good-sized waiting list!  Will has been able to make a second booking at Control Room B for 12:15 and Le Bab has been able to increase the seating number, as well.  However, Le Bab needs pre-ordered meals by 01 December so I will email everyone their set menu.

Battersea Power Station has opened to the public for the first time in over 90 years so let's go exploring!  We will start at the only kebab restaurant with Michelin-trained chefs!  After this delicious lunch we will move to the heart of the power station.

Located on Level One Le Bab focuses on Levantine flavours with a global influence.  Think Turkish Korean fried chicken, pork ribeye shawarma and spice-roasted aubergine sabich (which is fully vegan!).  Drinks include standards like the Tom Collins and Negroni, as well as the unusual Tequila and Tonic!

After our fill of kebabs, we will venture down one level to Control Room B which was one of the hubs of power generation and distribution in the 1950's.  We might even be able to tinker with the dials and buttons while we enjoy drinks like the Battery Licker (Bacardi rum, DiSaronno, orgeat syrup and coffee), and the 66,000 Volts (Bacardi white rum, Aperol, pineapple juice, raspberry syrup, lime juice and an egg white).  There are also a few of the classic cocktails, as well as wine and soft drinks.  We will have a table in the Control Room for 2 hours, after which there is time to explore the high-end shops like Watches of Switzerland, Hugo Boss and Polestar!
