Halloween Telford Parkrun

This event is part of the OutdoorLads *Halloween 2022* and participation is intended for those attending the weekend hostel event.
Telford parkrun is the closest parkrun to where we will be staying.
The 5km course consists of one small lap and one large lap of Randlay Pool. The course is fairly flat, fast and firm under foot, consisting of mainly tarmac surfaces but with wide natural footpaths in places. The course includes dinosaurs.
To compete in a parkrun and get your official time, you will need to have registered to receive your all important barcode. You will need to bring a hardcopy of this barcode with you, I always keep mine in my phone case.
You run at your own pace, don't be scared that you may be slower than other people, you get to enjoy the view while they run past.
It is an early start (8:15 meet for 8:30 departure to drive the 15mins to Brown Elm Car Park so please be prompt. I will leave without you if late. We will car share and parking is £1.
If coming along on the parkrun, you may be hard pushed to get back and ready for any event leaving prior to 10am. If on a walk, be ready to sling your bag on your back at arrival back at the hostel.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who has recently tested positive for Covid-19, is asked not to attend.
What to bring
Your usual jogging outfit, it would be great to see as much ODL branded tops as possible.
Your ParkRun barcode
A spare layer may be useful for when waiting around prior and after the event.
Food & drink
It is only a short run in the scheme of things. You can bring refreshments to leave in your vehicle.
