For those of you who watch Global Mountain Biking Network (GMBN) on youtube, you will recognise Cannop Cycle centre in the forest of dean. This is a great mountain biking trail centre with something for everyone.

for those of your who don't know about FOD check out their website here: https://www.forestryengland.uk/forest-dean-cycle-centre

On this ride, we will be doing the blue mountain bike trail called the verderers trail, an 11.3Km (7Miles) suitable for riders in good health with moderate off-road riding skills. Basic mountain bikes. (taken from the website).

This is a morning activity starting at 930am (the car park starts to get full after 10!). it will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete the ride and we will finish at the start point. You will need to pay for parking.

There are also a number of downhill trails graded from 1 dot to 3 dot, I will not be leading these trails, however, you are welcome to experience these at your leisure.

I will be stopping for lunch around 12, there is a cafe on-site for both hot and cold food and drinks, alternatively, you can bring your own.

In the afternoon I will be leading another event on the red trail, you can find this event here.

If you have any questions about this ride, please feel free to drop me a message.

If the weather is bad then the ride will get postponed and I will look for another suitable date
