This event is part of the Outdoorlads 2022 *BIG Peaky Weekender* and participation is intended for those attending the weekend event.
A 16km (10 mile) circular walk from the campsite, we will walk along the Monsal Trail in the direction of Monsal head, then along the river through Monsal Dale, up steep woodlands and then descending to the River Derwent for a riverside lunch stop.
After lunch we have a tour of the famous Thornbridge Brewery, where we will learn about the brewery’s history, and the brewing process. We also get a tutored tasting of 6 x thirds of their most popular beers, and a pint glass to take away included in the price.
The brewery tour and beer tasting is £15.00pp payable directly to the venue on the day (card only - no cash).
This walk will be very popular, so please don't sign-up if there's a chance you'll not attend, to avoid disappointing others. Do not sign-up for this walk if you do not intend to do the brewery tour.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete a Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who has recently tested positive for Covid-19, is asked not to attend.
What to bring
It'll be summer so hopefully the weather to be warm and sunny. Please ensure you have adequate layers to keep warm and waterproofs to keep you dry in the forecast isn't great.
Although many of the paths themselves are well-trodden, it may be wet and muddy underfoot, if the weather's been rainy.
Note that this is only a guide and you will need to consider the weather forecast.
