A pleasant walk in the Chiltern hills with some gentle hills, plenty of wooded scenery and some nice country pubs. We will start in the pretty town of Wendover and climb up Coombe hill to the monument and then across the Chilterns to the outskirts of Princes Risborough with fine views across the vale of Aylesbury. From there we will pass through ancient Box groves and on to Beacon Hill and the pretty church at Ellesborough. From there we will make our way back to Wendover passing the ground working of HS2 where we will find a plentiful supply of pubs.
Don't waste that space!
Spring and Summer walks mean lots of new and existing members excited to be getting out more. Please only book if you know you can make it. If your plans change please free up the space for someone else.
Is it dog friendly?
Dogs are welcome but please note and abide by the Countryside Code (https://tinyurl.com/rlqvp3h) and be prepared for a couple of stiles / hills on the walk. Please also remember not everyone loves dogs as much as you do so please be mindful of other members.
