This is a circular walk, approximately 9 miles in length.
We start from Wendover station in the north Chiltern Hills. Taking the Aylesbury Ring and passing through the Three Hundreds of Aylesbury, we head west towards Ellesborough and then ascend Beacon Hill for some tremendous views out over the Vale of Aylesbury.
Dropping down into the valley, we pass through the grounds of Chequers (the Prime Minister's country residence) smiling for the CCTV cameras as we cross the drive. We then pick up the Ridgeway and ascend Coombe Hill for some more fantastic views over the vale of Ayelsbury. We descend gently on our return to Wendover where there will be an opportunity for a drink before heading home.
