Outdoorlads is delighted to bring you a FIRST- a residential weekend devoted to dinghy sailing on the delightful Colne and Blackwater estuaries on the Essex coast. We will be sailing Wayfarers under the watchful eye of both an instructor and safety boat. The aim is for dinghy sailors with in land experience to transfer this to tidal waters and those with experience of tidal water to re-acquaint themselves with its delights. We will also be able to take a small number of less experienced sailors. We will get two full days of sailing. Wow!
With a long maritime tradition of fishing and boatbuilding, Brightlingsea is also a centre for leisure boating, with superb local sailing in the Colne and Blackwater estuaries, ideal for RYA courses, race training and dinghy day sailing and cruising.
