12.75 miles, on good tracks and paths to start, then cross-country on rocky and boggy ground.

Spring is here! Well, maybe. Celebrate the official start of spring with a mountain walk up Creag Mac Ranaich and Meall an t-Seallaidh near Lochearnhead. These two mountains are easily accessible from the village, but have a remote and rugged feel which makes them great for an exciting day out.

We will meet at Lochearnhead, and will hike up Glen Kendrum before branching off to take in first one, then the next summit. Meall an t-Seallaidh is Gaelic for 'Hill with the View', and on a clear day, the views from the top really are spectacular. Creag Mac Ranaich is a steep, rocky mountain, easy to get to the top of but with enough character about it to make you feel that you've conquered something!
