From Tram to Trail: Rivelin and Loxley walk from Sheffield
5 people attending
15 places left
Easy to reach by public transport, we'll start our bank holiday hike in the Rivelin Valley. Our route (around 8-9 miles) takes us along tranquil roads before a sharp descent into the Loxley Valley. Enjoy a riverside walk, then prepare for a demanding climb to Storrs. This is followed by a drop and another challenging ascent to Underbank Chapel, both rewarding us with sweeping vistas. We'll then ascend into Stannington before a final descent leads us back to the Rivelin Valley and a pleasant riverside stroll to where we started.
