Surrey Hills Road Cycle, with extension to Crawley (90 km)

Enjoy Surrey Hills on a summer's day.
We will head out of Dorking to the south, heading into rolling, wooded lanes, and uphill towards Leith Hill. Passing over Leith Hill with glorious views to the south, we will head through Coldharbour, Peaslake, and Winterfold. We will head back eastwards to Westhumble and wind up Box Hill and along the escarpment, before turning southwards to enter the second, more gentle half of the ride. We'll head south through Charlwood and skirt Crawley, before turning west and then north, heading back to Dorking.
There will be some challenging hills in the first half of this ride, but you will have ticked off some of the UK's most renowned climbs, and appreciated fine scenery along the way.
Worried about the distance?
The route returns to Dorking station at the half way point (before Box Hill) so anyone struggling with the climbs or distance has to option to leave the ride at this point. We'll wait for everyone at the top of each climb though and there's no pressure to go fast on this ride.
