A relatively short ride - 29 miles - along wooded roads of Surrey, with easy-moderate climbs. We will begin in Goldaming and head south to join a circular route through Hambledon, Chiddingfold and Cranleigh, returning to Godalming via the Winkworth Arboretum (with azaleas & bluebells) and Hascombe.
This ride with beautiful scenery is similar to Ride 7 in Nick Cotton's Cycle Tours: Surrey and West Sussex.

Food & drink
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water & some energy gels.
We'll aim to stop for a picnic in Cranleigh around the half way point to eat our packed lunches. There are a few shops there (Sainsburys, M&S Food, Costa) where we can get extra supplies if required or if you've forgotten to bring a lunch. Note that if we have several punctures along the way we may look to try and eat before we get to Cranleigh, so bringing food with you will help give us flexibility.
