Spofforth and Follifoot Day Walk

Explore the charming countryside on our scenic walk starting from Spofforth village, just 5 miles south of Harrogate. Wander alongside the picturesque River Crimple, up to Follifoot, through farmland, and a golf course. We’ll have a picturesque lunch stop by the ancient ruins of Spofforth castle, steeped in 13th-century history. 

Afterwards, follow the Wetherby Railway path, meander by Stockheld Park, and return to Spofforth. Don't miss the chance for an optional drink at a local pub near our starting point. Please bring suitable footwear for potentially muddy paths, and if you bring a furry friend, keep them on a lead around farm animals. Join us for a delightful day of exploration.
