Sheffield Symphony Orchestra - New Year Gala Concert

Celebrate the New Year with the Sheffield Symphony Orchestra, featuring our very own Andy Ling on the viola.

The New Year ‘Viennese Gala’ concert is a popular concert amongst SSO's regular audience. This concert is based on the New Year concert held in Vienna. Many shorter pieces make up this concert including Waltzes and Polkas, along with a guest vocal soloist. 
 

The concert is a celebration of the New Year and ticket prices also include a glass of wine or juice in the interval. As this is a popular event, we would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance from the SSO website. If you have booked a place on this event, the event leader will contact you when tickets go on sale. A drink in the interval is included in the ticket price.

We will go for a drink at a nearby pub after the concert.
