Saturday cycle and lunch - Glasgow East
4 people attending
2 places left
A weekend cycle for everyone.
This is a cycle of 40Km on bike friendly roads and paths. It should take us less than 3 hours - depending on stops. There are options to make the event longer but that depends on the group/weather conditions etc. I'll gradually increase the length and difficulty of these rides as we move from spring into summer.
A leisurely pace will take us out to Coatbridge via Edinburgh Rd and back to the east of Glasgow using newly completed cycle network adjacent to the M8.
We will be on a variety of surfaces which will be fine for most bikes. I personally will be using my gravel bike and not a road bike. If it's wet there are sections that wouldn't suit narrow slick tyres.
This is a group cycle and nobody gets left behind.
