A 3 day cycling adventure over the bank holiday weekend from urban Wolverhampton to the scenic Welsh coast of Aberystwyth.  The route follows National Route 81 which includes; Lôn Cambria, a scenic route that crosses the heart of beautiful Mid Wales through the Cambrian mountains between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth.  You can read about the route on the Sustrans website here.

Day 2 takes us from Welshpool to Rhayader via Llanidloes and Llangurig mostly along valleys but with some rude mountains in the afternoon.  Lunch will likely be in a cafe in Llanidloes.

Rhayader closed it's railway station in 1962, so unless you catch a bus or cycle home, you will be with us till the end of Day 3.

You can see a map of the entire 3 day route here and the day 2 route here.

If you are completing the entire route, you will need to carry everything you need for the three days. Accommodation is to be arranged individually.  Your leader is booked into the Elan Hotel.

If you have queries regarding fitness or kit, contact the leader.
