Rockets up the Happy Valley

Why watch one firework display when you can watch them all? From the top of the Malvern Hills we should be able to see many celebrations in Worcester, Malvern, Tewkesbury and surrounding villages.
The walk will start at the station from where we will walk up Happy Valley to St Ann's Well. The route continues to our vantage point on the Worcestershire Beacon where we will arrive shortly before the "kick off" time at 7pm. After a sparkling, magical commemoration of attempted regicide we'll go back down the way we came, dropping into a pub for a quick drink before heading home.
Getting there & parking
There are regular services from Worcester with onward connections to Birmingham and Oxford. An hourly service operates from Hereford.
Limited free parking is available at Great Malvern station - failing that you can park for £1.50 in Priory Road a few streets away.
What to bring
It will be dark so bring a torch! Please dress in warm clothes - it will be cold at the top and we'll be sat for a while.
Water: bring at least a litre
Medicines: if you have hay fever, diabetes, minor ailments etc.
Rucksack: or any other bag
Footwear: hiking boots, sturdy trainers or wellies

Snacks: bring biscuits, energy bars, gels, bananas, chocolate or dried fruit for example and put them somewhere easy to get hold of
