Join Stephen on an 11 mile walk in and around Ribchester in the picturesque Ribble Valley
Highlights of the walk will be -
Walking through Ribchester towards the river.

Meandering through wooded valleys, crossing a ford and along fields with views to the Pennines
Walking through the grounds of Stonyhurst College in the village of Hurst Green with its links to JRR Tolkien and the supposed basis for Middle Earth in the Lord of the Rings. If we have time we can stop for an ice cream at Millie's cafe.

Picking up the Ribble Way and following the River Ribble back in to Ribchester.
When we arrive back you are welcome to join Stephen and Mike and go to the Black Bull pub for a post walk drink and/or have some food there. Or as they say in Lancashire- let's go out for our tea.

You can leave your car at the car park as it is just round the corner. But make sure you have enough time on your ticket.
