Linear 50km with 222 elevation. Full Circle 93km and 579m elevation.

Join us for a flexible spring ride across the Weald of Kent to Wye where you can enjoy a 50km linear route and catch the train back from Wye or, if feeling energetic, complete the whole 93km circular route.

We'll head east this time, skirting the village of Staplehurst and then cross country along quiet country lanes until we pass Headcorn aerodrome. We may see sky divers overhead and spot some WW2 aircraft taking off, on display or in the hangers.

From here we continue through beautiful countryside to the village of Bethesden before skirting Ashford and hopping over the High Speed Railway Line, that now seems well hidden and embedded into the landscape. It's then over the M20 and into the stunning nature of the Wye Downs Area.

We'll stop for a pub lunch in the village of Wye itself, at the New Flying Horse. https://www.newflyinghorsewye.co.uk/

After lunch we will bid farewell to those on the linear route at the station before starting to head west and along the bottom of the North Downs. Quaint little hamlets, grand farmhouses and isolated chapels. When we reach Lenham, we turn again and head back towards Headcorn and continue back to Marden.
