POSTPONED - Nottingham Indoor Bouldering

5 places left
Join ODL for a fun, informal night of bouldering at The Depot, Nottingham.
Bouldering is a style of climbing free from the use of ropes and takes place above safety matting. This means that regardless of your level of fitness or ability everyone can enjoy bouldering at their own pace. It’s a superb way to keep fit in a social environment.
After the session we may go for a drink at a nearby pub.
First time bouldering?
No problem. If it’s your first time bouldering then we will be happy to orientate you, taking you through the safety aspects, the routes and some simple techniques. You will need the leader to sign you in at the start of the session.
- It's £8.50 entry for non-members and £7.50 for members.
- Concession pricing available.
- Annual membership is £5, and is optional.
Full pricing can be viewed here: https://www.theclimbingdepot.co.uk/nottingham/about/opening-times-prices

What to bring
You don't need much equipment for bouldering, which is another part of its appeal.
Although sports trainers can be used, it is better to wear climbing shoes. These can be hired from the centre for £3 if you haven't got your own. Or, the leader has some spare shoes in various sizes, so speak to them before hiring to see if they are suitable.
There are on-site lockers for valuables. Bring your own padlock or purchase one from the reception.
What to Wear
It is best to wear either shorts, loose trousers or tracksuit bottoms that provide plenty of movement. A normal t-shirt or sports top are fine.
Any jewellery such as rings, watches, chains or bracelets should be removed.
Food & drink
There is a cafe area at the centre where hot and cold drinks along with snacks can be purchased. However you are welcome to bring your own drinks to the centre. A water fountain is available.
