9 miles small incline into Richmond Park
This walk is easily accessible for anyone in London and a bit further afield. It’s a leisurely walk taking in the picturesque Richmond Green and then follows the Thames down to Teddington Lock. After a pub stop we have a small ascent into Richmond Deer Park and continue on to take in the view to the South from Richmond Hill.
What to bring
It’s footpaths but can get muddy after rain so sensible footwear/boots are recommended.
Food & drink
A packed lunch and water is recommended. We’ll be stopping for a refreshment stop at a pub along the way and for those not rushing off there’s also a pub stop at the end in Richmond.
