A 3 night stay in Northumberland National Park, set at the foot of the Cheviots, two miles from the small town of Wooler and half an hour from this county's amazing coastline of beaches, castles and fishing villages.

Our location is a series of converted cottages with sleeping accommodation for 20 in shared bedrooms (1 room with 2 beds, 1 room with 4 beds, 1 room with 6 beds and 1 room with 8 beds). As well as its own garden and lawn, it has an open fire for cosy evenings on chilly Spring evenings.

We will gather on the Thursday evening, with the usual OutdoorLads buffet, get to know each other and get a briefing from the leader. Friday and Saturday are full days to explore lots on offer. There will be at least one walk on offer for both days with lots of opportunities to visit Northumberland's endless, empty beaches, castles, coastal villages, the Chillingham wild cattle, Lindisfarne / Holy Island and the amazing Castle and Gardens at Alnwick.

Food for two nights and breakfast on all three mornings is included in the price.

Dogs: Sadly, dogs are not allowed at this venue.

Note: This event is replacing an event that was postponed during Covid at a different venue near here. The 12 people booked onto that event are being given "first refusal" to transfer to this event, and hence there could be up to 12 more places made available after 9th December 2021. This hostel event sleeps twenty people.
