Mostly flat but with some forest steps and gradients

6.5 mile yomp near Haltwhistle, Northumberland taking in Featherstone Castle via the Lambley Viaduct across the South Tyne. For most part flat, this walk combines open Riverside walking with woodland, dramatic bridges and viaducts. There may the possibility of tea and cake afterwards for those of a hungry disposition!
