The walks are relatively flat, but will be lengthy (approx 14 miles.)

OutdoorLads is once again returning to the stunning location of Wells-Next-the-Sea on the Norfolk Coastline. Set in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Wells has a beautiful coastline with some fantastic walking to offer over this early Spring weekend!

The YHA in Wells is a small, but modern and comfortable hostel, converted from a old church. With well kept rooms and a number of small lounges to relax in, it's a great hostel, positioned in the town so that we can make use of the amenities there, but with walks available from the doorstep.

On the Saturday we'll be taking a long (but relatively flat) day walk along coast-line, taking in some of the amazing landscape and unique marshlands. This is the Norfolk coast, so expect some breeze, but this is a great route with a cafe part-way along for a tea or coffee top-up and usually some great cakes!

On the Sunday, after clearing the hostel, those who have time have a choice of a range of activities-from biking around Holkham nature reserve and Holkham Hall, or a visit England's largest seal colony on a boat trip out at Blakey Point - which is fantastic, and a Norfolk must-do!. As Norfolk is well known for being flat, it's the perfect location for some road biking if anyone would like to bring their bike along.

Breakfast will be provided on both days, with a cooked dinner on Saturday evening, and of course, the traditional OutdoorLads buffet on Friday evening. On Saturday evening, we'll have a those who want to may fancy a drink in a nearby local establishment, or relax and chat to others in the hostel.

Dogs: Up to two very well behaved dogs can attend this event, but only by prior arrangement with the event leader (e-mail liam.russell@outdoorlads.com ) and at a cost of £30 per dog (this is a YHA charge.) Those with dogs will be allocated a specific bedroom, and remain responsible for the dog at all times, which must be kept out of the food preparation and dining areas. One place has now been taken, so just one dog space remaining.
