MTB Llandegla Toughy

Bydd y reid hon yng nghymer ni o'r gwersyllfa  i lawr lonydd gwledig a rhai tiroedd neis i bentref Llangollen lle y byddwn yn rhoi'r gorau i rywbeth i fwyta neu yfed. Mae'n bennaf ar lonydd gwledig tawel iawn i ddechrau. Mae'r golygfeydd trwodd yn rhagorol efo coedwig, clogwyni, mynyddoedd a rhostiroedd. Ar ôl i ni adael Llangollen byddwn wedyn yn seiclo yn ôl ar hyd Bwlch yr Oernant,  mae'r rhan yma yn anodd ac mae traffig ar y ffordd hon, mae 'na gaffi arall yn y top dylai unrhyw un eisiau rhoi'r gorau a chael ychydig o luniaeth eraill.

Starting from our campsite in Llandegla village, we'll travel by car a few minutes drive to the starting point. We need to be there early in order to achieve  good parking. From the start we ride down country lanes and some nice different terraines to Llandegla Forest,  where we will do a nice section of the downhill 'blue' trail. We will then carry on our journey back to the start point over more moorland and some excellent downhill descents. We will have the opportunity to stop for something to eat or drink at the end. The ride is mainly on bridleways with some road cycling at the start and at the end and fortunately the roads are very quiet of traffic. The views throughout are outstanding with forests, cliffs, mountains and moorlands.  After we leave Llangollen we will then traverse the famous horse shoe pass, ((in Welsh Bwlch yr Oernant,) "Pass of the Cold Stream")).
