Join us as we celebrate and promote OutdoorLads at one of the UK’s biggest and best Pride events! 🏳️‍🌈

This year, we’re keeping things simple and sticking with our walking entry, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be bringing the full OutdoorLads spirit! Expect bold red tees, big energy, and plenty of pride as we march through the city together.

❤️ The Theme: Love

This year's Manchester Pride Parade celebrates Love – a powerful force that has helped LGBTQ+ people stand strong, live authentically, and support one another through times of adversity.

Love has always been at the heart of our community. In the face of discrimination, rejection and marginalisation, love has given us courage, unity, and pride.

Join us at The Love Parade as we march through the streets of Manchester, stopping the city in its tracks to shine a spotlight on queer love, acceptance, and the right to be exactly who we are.

📍 The Plan

Meet at 11:30am at Castlefield Roman Gardens (just off Liverpool Road, next to the White Lion Pub). See the “Location” section below for full details.
We’ll be easy to spot, just look for the red OutdoorLads T-shirts (which you’ll need to wear!).

As always, we want to showcase everything that makes OutdoorLads awesome, so if you're able, get involved by bringing gear that reflects your favourite activities:

  • Climbers – Wear your harness. Bonus points for clipping on nuts, hexes or cams for a bit of jingly flair!
  • Cyclists / Mountain Bikers – Ride along-side on your bike. Bells and horns encouraged for extra fun!
  • Walkers / Hikers – Walking poles, rucksacks, hydration bladders (contents at your discretion!) and massive OS maps are all welcome. Bonus points if you act lost and ask the crowd for directions.

We’ll also have flags to wave, stickers to hand out, and heaps of enthusiasm to share!

Most importantly, don’t forget your red OutdoorLads T-shirt!

🎟️ Parade Wristbands

To take part in the parade, you must collect a wristband from our muster point at Castlefield Roman Gardens.
No wristband = no parade entry. Please arrive on time, as late arrivals last year struggled to get one.

🚫 Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the parade. This is a restriction set by the parade organisers.

🌈 After the Parade

We’ll be spending time in the Village after the parade, both to socialise and to represent OutdoorLads to potential new members.
We'll likely break into small groups to chat to the public, hand out stickers and encourage sign-ups (ideally while enjoying a few drinks in the sunshine!).

📍 Details of where to meet after the parade will be announced on the day.

Important: You’ll need a separate Gay Village Party or Mardi Gras Wristband to access the Village after the parade. Tickets for the Gay Village Party or Mardi Gras can be purchased here.

The parade wristband does not grant access to the Pride event, so we recommend getting your event wristbands in advance if you plan to join us in the Village afterwards.

More details will be added here and emailed to participants as plans develop.
It’s going to be another fantastic year. We can’t wait to see you there! 🎉
