Manchester Pride 2021: "Sticker Brigade" (Saturday)

The pride parade may not be happening this year, but we are still going to ensure that OutdoorLads has a presence at Manchester Pride. We want to let the community know who we are and what we do; to be available to chat to new and prospective members and be part of the pride celebrations.

Would you be a good ambassador for OutdoorLads? Are you willing and able to chat enthusiastically about the group and encourage new members? If so, we would like you to help us form a small group of volunteers within the Gay Village to distribute stickers and other promotional material during the festival weekend.

The plan will be to circulate in the Village (in our red t-shirts of course!) in one or more small groups throughout the afternoon, promoting OutdoorLads, but also soaking up the atmosphere together and enjoying Pride together.

We'll have some OutdoorLads temporary tattoos too, fun!

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement

You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.

COVID-19 – IMPORTANT, Please read the following before you sign up to this event:

• Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who lives or is in a support bubble with someone showing symptoms, is asked not to attend. This is in line with the government’s coronavirus advice.
• You must also immediately self-isolate and not attend the event if you or someone in your household or support bubble shows coronavirus symptoms or tests positive. Read the NHS self-isolation guidance.
• OutdoorLads strongly encourages all attendees to take a rapid lateral flow test immediately prior to attending an event. This will help to keep everyone safe. Order free Rapid Lateral Flow Tests.
