Complementing Marty and Jason's "Plodding and Pedalling in Wharfedale" Hostel weekend:  I'm pleased to offer you an opportunity to Mountain Bike in the Yorkshire Dales.

Ride with us and enjoy a good all weather route, which takes us from our start point at the hostel down to the trail head at Kilnsey.  From there we head south across Malham Moor on a mixture of grass track and purpose built trail before enjoying one of the best parts of the ride which will be the descent to Threshfield through the old coal mining area - a superb descent of a rough gritstone track which makes all the hard work worth it.

Once there we'll stop for a pint in the pub or a coffee, soft drink and a bit of cake/lunch.

That's the hard bit of the ride complete - after our break we head north back to our start point on an easy return leg before finally arriving back at the hostel in time for afternoon tea.

It would be great it you could join us at the hostel but if you can't get away for the weekend you're still welcome to come along for this event.
