If you can put up your tent you'll be fine!

Have you fallen in love with the little valley that Llanthony Priory is nestled in?  Or have you always felt this is just a little to far to travel for a day walk?   Well why not take this opportunity to spend the weekend camping with OutdoorLads.  This is a great little campsite, although basic. There is a toilet, but there are no showers.

On the Saturday Peter will be organising a day walk leaving from the Priory car park and if you want to join this you will need to register for this separately here

There are plenty of other walks in the immediate area if you want to do your own thing, or if you wanted to try something different then how about a day pony trekking (You will need to book this directly yourself)

Both the Priory and Half Moon public house are only a few minutes walk from the campsite and serve meals so if you don't want to cook for yourself I am sure a group of people will be heading to one or the other on both the Friday and Saturday nights.

Dogs are welcome on the campsite but you will be expected to be considerate of other campers and clear up behind them.  There are chickens, ducks and guinea fowl roaming loose on the site and there will be sheep in adjacent fields so please take this into account if you are thinking of bringing your dog, which will need to be on a lead at all times when on the site.

(Thanks to Peter Lyth for some of the pictures)
