Join us on a route around idyllic South Norfolk starting from and returning to the town of Diss, which is on the mainline railway service from London, Colchester and Ipswich.

The route itself takes in a lot of quiet lanes with a tea / lunch stop in the Market town of Wymondham, with a total distance of 40 miles.

The ride will be at the pace of the slowest rider, with a benchmark expectation of an average speed of 14mph for the circuit, so manageable by most road cyclists. You can expect to be back at the start by 3pm at the latest taking into account tea stops. Therefore if you would like a drink at the end of the ride (or allow buffer for punctures etc) look to book your return train tickets from 4pm or later.

For details of trains from London please see the Meeting Location at the bottom of the page.

We look forward to you joining us for a cycle in sunny Norfolk!

Note this ride will be hosted by Lou on the day as part of his cycle leader assessment.
