16 places left
Join Shaun and Lee for a 13 km (8 miles) walk over the river Humber via the Humber Bridge exploring the views of Humberside en route to Barton-Upon Humber. There we will visit a local cafe and then afterwards explore the local nature reserve and scenery in Barton. The final part of the walk will include returning over the Humber Bridge back into East Yorkshire.
We will be walking through a nature reserve, therefore, unfortunately, this walk is unsuitable for dogs.

What to bring
- Trainers are suitable for this walk, however, if there has been recent rain, then walking boots/shoes would be more suitable
- Day sack
- Waterproofs
- Hat
- Gloves
- Food & Water
- Sun screen
Note, as we will be walking over the bridge, therefore fairly exposed, even on a nice day it may be windy/chilly so bringing some warm clothing would be advisable.
Food & drink
Feel free to bring your own food, drinks and plenty of water. There is a cafe in the Humber Bridge Car Park which sells drinks/snacks. Once we arrive in Barton-Upon Humber we will have the opportunity to visit the Viking Way Café Bar on the riverside. They sell drinks, food and snacks (including cake) if you wish to buy something from there. Here there is plenty of space to sit by the river and enjoy the views while we eat.
