A classic Home Counties walk. With spring just around the corner this route will provide some great late winter views.
We will get the highs in the first quarter of the route, climaxing on the Beacon of Ivinghoe, our winding descent will bring us the lows of quaint English countryside, villages and the pub.
Our lunch stop will be in the Marsworth village area, with a pub stop option (provided it's open and you have all been good).
The second half of the route is a flat stroll passing through the reservoirs around Tring, joining the Grand Union Canal. From here we use the Tows back to the station, where it all began and magic was made!!
Is it dog friendly? Dogs are welcome but please note and abide by the Countryside Code (https://tinyurl.com/rlqvp3h) and be prepared for a couple of stiles / hills on the walk. Please also remember not everyone loves dogs as much as you do so please be mindful of other members.
