Snowdonia National Park offers a whole host of outdoor activites, and this Easter we are spending three nights here, based in the Woodlands Centre in the stunning village of Betws-y-Coed. From there we can take to the mountains, forrests or coast for walking, scrambling, climbing, mountain biking or watersports. A full range of activities will be on offer, depending upon the availability of leaders. We also hope to be able to offer one or more "paid for" activities from a local provided.
Our Accomodation
The Woodlands Centre is a large Victorian property specially adapted into an outdoor centre. There are eight dormitories, a common room, games room, large kitchen, drying room and five bathrooms with hot showers. All dormitories are centrally heated, each with bunks, mattresses, duvets and bed linen (which must be used).
The centre is located in the village, so as well as being within just a short drive from adventures throughout Snowdnia, we also have easy access to shops, pubs and cafes if we want them.
As with all our hostel events, we will looking for volunteers to assist with cooking and chores in the centre, as well as volunteers to help lead activities.
