This afternoon walk which will start after the South Christmas Multi-Activity event and finish before Zumba, will take us past the Devizes Millennium White Horse and the the Oliver’s Castle Iron Age Hill Fort (600BC), giving us excellent views of Devizes if the weather is kind. Our walk will include sections of the Quakers Walk Path, Mid-Wilts Trail and Wessex Ridgeway.

COVID-19 – IMPORTANT, Please read the following before you sign up to this event:
- Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who lives or is in a support bubble with someone showing symptoms, is asked not to attend. This is in line with the government’s coronavirus advice.
- You must also immediately self-isolate and not attend the event if you or someone in your household or support bubble shows coronavirus symptoms or tests positive. Read the NHS self-isolation guidance.

What to bring
We’ll sometimes be on rough, muddy tracks, so wear appropriate footwear and dress to suit the weather conditions. Hiking boots will be ideal. You may need a sun hat and sunscreen, more likely waterproof jacket, over trousers, gloves and a hat. A small rucksack could be useful, and maybe a small torch as it will be getting dark by the end of the walk.
Food & drink
To ensure we get back in time for Zumba, we are unlikely to visit any eating or drinking establishments during this walk, but may have a couple of snack stops, so consider bringing some food and drink with you.
