A 6.5 mile walk taking in the surprisingly beautiful Croxdale Hall and estate, in a setting reminiscent (in the right weather) of the South of France. Lots of different landscapes to enjoy, from the estate parkland of Croxdale Hall, the rainforest-like Butterby Wood winding next to the River Wear, returning down Strawberry Lane before doffing our berets as a we pass humbly back through the Croxdale estate.

(NB Although this walk starts in the village of Sunderland Bridge, it is completely different to the walk held in May 2021 from there)

Note that all the pictures were taken by Kieren Hollingsworth and OutdoorLads has permission to use them.
