?Bardon Mill Village (along the A69) where they have a beautiful takeaway coffee shop which opens at 10am
? Robin Hood Tree at the Sycamore Gap
↔️ Loop of 12.3 miles, 5.5 hours
? We will see beautiful Northumberland countryside and woodlands and walk along the ancient Hadrians wall, along with a Milecastle, view of a crag and the famous Sycamore Gap. There we will see the movie-famous Robin Hood tree which won the 2016 England Tree of the Year award.
?️ There's plenty of free on-street parking along the main road (Cycle Rte 72) or Station Rd
? Bardon Mill is on the Newcastle <-> Carlisle line. Recommended trains: 8:59am arrival from Carlisle. 9:21am arrival from Newcastle. There's also a bus stop at "Bowes Hotel" for local services.
