All on cycle paths or tarmacked roads but there are some hills.

A leisurely cycle leaving From Glasgow Green and heading down to the Ayrshire Coast.  We'll head through Queens Park and Newton Mearns before heading south where we'll cut through the top end of Kilmarnock to join the Irvine - Kilmarnock Cycle path, a disused railway. We'll then cut off before Dreghorn and over to Dundonald where we'll have a stop for refreshments at the Dundonald Castle Visitors Centre Cafe.  After this we'll head over the hill and down into Troon where we can have an Ice Cream (for those of us not on a diet) before we head to Troon Railway Station where we can get trains back to Kilwinning and Glasgow. In total 34 miles with some hills.  Please be aware some of the route is on main roads.

This event is suitable for all bikes. This is a group cycle and nobody gets left behind.

The proposed route can be found in the detailed info for members.
