Fancy staying in the middle of the Glenmore forest in the Cairngorm National Park surrounded by forests, Loch Morlich, Loch An Eilein and the Cairngorm mountain range?

This event page is for those who have booked their own accommodation in the local area, staying in one of the lodges or camping pods at Badaguish. Please note, you DO NOT have to sign up for this Multi Activity event page if you have already signed up to the Camping option.

Limited availability in the lodges, please contact event leaders if interested. If you’re booking a camping pod we would recommend pods in location 1-10.

The small charge is to cover the cost of running the events including communal hiring of activities hall, welcome drink on the 1st evening at the event briefing, BBQ area hire, cost of charcoal, snacks and desserts for the BBQ).  Bring your own drinks and food to cook on the BBQ

The location is 1100ft high in the forest with great views and lots of different  options on the doorstep without having to move your car! The closest rail way station is Aviemore (5 miles away) with several trains and buses links to Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Direct flights from London Gatwick and Bristol to Inverness airport only 30 mins drive away.

The leaders are staying at Badaguish, which offers a variety of accommodation available.

The actual activities will vary depending on the weather at the time but we already have a variety of different walks, mountain bike routes, forest cycles and running routes available.  A short briefing each evening along with a message will be sent to all attendees so you’ll be able to see what’s on offer each day and to keep you updated of any changes! The meeting place for all events is outside the Wigwam kitchen.

On our 1st evening we’ll start the event with a welcome drink, event briefing & social in the activities hall and on Saturday evening a BBQ and an opportunity to socialise each evening in the communal kitchen & social space (shown in the photos) for those camping and staying in a camping pod - an ideal space when it’s raining! 

Sorry, Campervans are not permitted at Badaguish

OutdoorLads will be sharing the site with other guests. No noise is permitted after 11pm and participants must respect the other guests staying on site. 

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement

You MUST complete a Participation Statementin addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend. 

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who has recently tested positive for Covid-19, is asked not to attend.
