5km run

This is one of the events organised as part of BIG Summer Camp 2021

Littlehampton Prom parkrun is the closest parkrun to where we will be staying.

The 5km run is along a flat course, entirely on tarmac, encompassing two laps of the promenade parallel to the beach.  There will be marshals on the day to point us in the right direction.

To compete in a parkrun and get your official time, you will need to have registered to receive your all important barcode.  You will need to bring a hardcopy of this barcode with you, I always keep mine in my phone case.

You run at your own pace, don't be scared that you may be slower than other people, you get to enjoy the view while they run past.

It is an early start (8:15 meet for 8:30 departure to drive the 12mins to West Green car park (BN17 5LL), so please be prompt.  I will leave without you if late.  Bring some pennies for Pay and Display (£1.50 min).

If coming along on the parkrun, you will be hard pushed to get back and ready for any event leaving at 10am or earlier.  There will be events spaced through the day.  Will your leader will be leading the Amberley and Parham walk at 10:30.
