BSumC 2021 - Langham’s in Lodsworth Brewery tour and walk

This event is intended for attendees at BIG Summer Camp 2021.

Petworth to Langham Brewery Leisurely walk

OutdoorLads guys will be visiting Langham’s Brewery for a leisure day in a brewery, trying their amazing craft ales along with scrumptions sourdough pizza's for the afternoon. We'll experience a guided tour of the brewery, learning about the brewing process whilst sampling a range of their award-winning ales. (Tour and samples is included in the event price; additional refreshments and food are not.) 

On the day we will have a selection of fabulous real ales up and several local ciders, plus a selection of other refreshments.

Delicious food as well - Pizzas from the on-site authentic Italian Pizzeria, Farretti Bakery, which you can order (at additional cost) to enjoy with your beer. They really are sublime! Choose from Margherita £8, Chorizo £8.50 or our Perfumo del Bosco Langham House pizzas £10, a delicious combination of truffle oil paste, pancetta, mozarella and mushroom, or house vegetarian pizza without pancetta. Gluten free catered for and vegan pizzas available on request.

This event will mean that we will be getting to Petworth by bus (taking around an hour and half) before a short 5 mile walk across South Down National Park, then calling in at the brewery.

We will have about 3 to 4 hours within the brewery before making our return journey from the end of the lane by bus.

OutdoorLads have been involved with Langham’s for over 7 years now and several members have become good friends.  We've had some fab fun and extremely memorable brewery tours together. They are even supplying the beer on the bar back at Worthing Rugby Club for us!

Due to the location of the rugby club and Langham’s there’s no easy way to start our day.

We will need to walk from the rugby club to Angmering station, hop on a train to Worthing then take Bus No 1 to Petworth for start of the walk

• Total journey will be around 1-hour 57min before heading on a 5 mile walk across to the brewery.
• Bus departs from Worthing at 11.05 and arrives at Petworth at 12.15
• Departs from Midhurst at 17.40 and arrives at Worthing at 19.02
• Then train back to Angmering
• Train & Bus Costs £13.30

The brewery requests that you wear a face mask for the tour unless you have a medical condition making you exempt.
