BSumC 2021 - 66km Devil's Dyke and the Prom - Road Cycle
3 people attending
9 places left
This event is intended for attendees at BIG Summer Camp 2021.
Join John for a 66km road bike cycle during the BIG Summer Camp.
John will be leading this route heading north initially and climbing up on to the south downs we will follow quiet roads east onto the Devils Dyke Climb for our big main challenging section. Descending after the difficult climb we head through Brighton with lots of opportunities for a café stop before we join National Cycle route 2, following the seafront all the way back to our start.
The route has 523m total of climbing which will be in the first half of the day, I can't guarantee traffic free roads but I have planned the route around the quieter lanes of the South Downs.
I'll be on a drop handlebar road bike and recommend the use of a drop-handlebar road bike for this event. The café stop is not garenteed so please bring snacks in addition to the usual tools and tubes to fix mechanicals.
