This is one of the events organised as part of Big Spring Camp 2025.
Join us on Sunday morning for a Hybrid Functional Fitness Workout, a fun and accessible session blending strength, cardio, and endurance in a way that gets you moving, sweating and smiling.
We’ll work through a series of functional exercises in a circuit-style format, focusing on good form, achievable goals and that feel-good post-workout buzz. Whether you’re a total beginner or well into your fitness journey, this session is designed to meet you where you’re at. Expect a mix of bodyweight movements, running and ab exercises, with nothing too technical, just plenty of energy and encouragement.
The session will begin with a guided warm-up and finish with a stretch to help your body recover and feel great for the rest of the day. The main workout will start promptly at 10:40 following the warm-up, so please arrive on time to take part fully and safely.
You won’t need any fancy kit, just some trainers, a water bottle, and your best effort. You may wish to wear suncream if the weather is hot, and bring a towel or mat if you’d prefer not to do ab exercises on the grass. We’ll be outdoors, so make sure you're ready to enjoy the fresh air while you work out!
This event is led by OutdoorLads’ very own Emrys, a passionate fitness fan, volunteer judge at recent HYROX competitions, and soon to be competing in Cardiff himself. With a focus on fun, support and good vibes, Emrys will help make this a positive and empowering way to start your Sunday.

You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
