BSC2019: 40km Any Rider Any Bike Cycle to Conwy Castle (Sunday 10:30)

An easy(ish) outing to Conwy Castle for some culture, cake and coffee. We will be cycling up one side of the valley from the campsite and back down the other! Entrance to the castle is optional and is approx £10. We will include a pub/cafe for lunch.
The route will be on roads all the way, so any bike will be suitable (even a Brompton if you are bonkers). There is a hill in the way on the the way out but the climb is fairly gradual, don't let it put you off. Should take under 2 hours to get to Conwy and the same for the return (though much flatter and easier).

Be mindful of the weather. Will is scared of the rain and the event may be cancelled if the weather is minging.
What to bring
- A fully functioning bike. Needs to have at least 1 wheel and a brake.
- Helmet - no helmet, no ride.
- Enough snacks to keep you from being hangry
- Water - tip of the day add honey too it - cheap sugary drink.
- Puncture repair kit
- Pump
- Spare layers
- Eye protection
- Gloves
Food & drink
I usually try and include at least one pub and or cafe for tea/cakes/lunch. Bring plenty of snacks to keep you happy. The halfway point is Conwy so should be a few places to choose from.
