This event is part of the OutdoorLads 2025 *BIG Peaky Weekender* and participation is intended for those attending the weekend event.
Standing Yoga session
This simple, short yoga session is guided by the principles of calming breath, mind focus, smooth movement and point of stretch. It's a straightforward routine suitable for absolute beginners and experienced yogis alike. It comes at the end of a busy day and allows a space for relaxation, stretch. It gives participants a chance to stop quietly, feel the exertions of the day and listen to what your body needs. All of the moves are suitable for every level of flexibility and stretch and you will never need to move beyond your own personal comfort zone.
All the poses and movements for this session are based on standing, so mats won't be necessary and you can take part either barefoot or wearing trainers as you prefer.

What to bring
For this event, you need to wear loose fitting clothing that allows a full range of movement. Tracksuit bottoms / shorts and a loose t shirt are fine. All of the poses are standing so you will not need a yoga mat. On your feet, you can choose to be barefoot or wearing trainers as you prefer (and depending on where we use for the session) but it is not advisable to wear just socks.
Food & drink
Bring a water bottle if you wish, and plan to eat after the session rather than immediately before.
