This event is part of BIG Peaky Weekender 2025 and participation is intended for those attending the weekend event.
Join us for an hour of kayaking fun on Carsington Water. The event cost includes kayak hire with associated equipment, and an initial briefing for those who need it.
This event is in the afternoon, there is also a kayaking event in the morning but it is full. This kayaking event will run at the same time as the afternoon SUP event, so there will be more ODL'ers around than just the four on this event!
A note on timings: this is to meet at Thornbridge at 1220, to travel to the venue to arrive by 1310, and the activity to start at 1330. If you have other plans for the morning but will make your own way to the venue, please let us know.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
What to bring
All specialist equipment will be provided. You will need to take swimwear and appropriate clothing, including a hat, and footwear which can be worn in the water. You may also wish to bring a dry bag for anything you take with you, as well as a towel, and snacks / lunch as well.
Food & drink
You may wish to bring a packed lunch, especially if you intend to participate in both morning and afternoon activities at Carsington Water.
