This event is part of the BIG Peaky Weekender 2023 event, and participation is intended for those attending the weekend event.
Come and enjoy some Stand-Up Paddle Boarding on Carsington Water. Great, but wet, fun in beautiful surrounds!
The event cost includes board hire and associated equipment, plus an initial briefing for those who need it.
Take a look at the Kayaking event at Carsington Water later on the same day. There will be time for lunch between the two events should you wish to take part in both paddle boarding and kayaking, and make a day of it. Even time for a quick parkrun before you set off for the day, should you be so inclined!
A note on timings: this is to meet at Thornbridge at 1030, to travel to the venue to arrive by 1110, and the activity to start at 1130.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
What to bring
All specialist equipment will be provided. You will need to take swimwear and appropriate clothing and footwear which can be worn in the water.
Due to board/paddle sizes, participants must be able to reach up to a minimum height of 180cm.
Food & drink
You may wish to bring a packed lunch, especially if you intend to participate in both morning and afternoon activities at Carsington Water.
