When we think of Tyndrum we think of Ben Lui, but in fact there are a whole clutch of four Munros in that group of hills that lie to the SW of Tyndrum.

We've climbed Ben Lui a couple of times in recent years, and also its westerly neighbour Beinn a'Chleibh back in 2015. This walk will take in the easterly two Munros of that group - Beinn Dubhcraig (Mountain of the Black Rock) and Ben Oss (Hill of the Elk).

The route will take us through some natural woodland to reach Beinn Dubhchraig (978m) before a fine ridge traverse to Ben Oss (1029m) with some fine views over Coire Garbh and towards the mighty Ben Lui, weather permitting of course.
