Beginners Leisure Cycle - Manchester to Media City
3 people attending
3 places left
This 8 mile ride is aimed at people fairly new to cycling or who haven't ridden for a while. Experienced cyclists in the mood for something a little more gentle are very welcome too.
We'll head out of the city centre using the Rochdale and Bridgewater canal towpaths to get to Salford Quays and Media City. We'll then return to our start point using the path that runs alongside the Manchester Ship Canal. The route is pretty flat all the way round and the terrain is level, apart some cobbly bits on the canal tow path so it will be fine for all bike types.
Important - You must complete the Cycling Participation Statement (click this link) before attending your first cycling event. This only needs to be completed once, no need to complete it again for your second or subsequent cycling events.
