Banff Mountain Film Festival - London 2024

Looking for some inspiration for your next outdoor adventure? Join OutdoorLads as we head to a London screening of award-winning outdoor adventure short films on the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour! The world’s most prestigious mountain film festival is coming to London with a brand new selection of extraordinary short films from the world’s leading adventure film makers.

Be warned that tickets tend to sell out well in advance of the screening, so early booking is recommended!

Please note this is a Monday evening.

Through the big screen you’ll follow the expeditions of some of today’s most incredible adventurers, see amazing footage of adrenaline packed action sports, be transported to the world’s last great wild places and be 
inspired by thought-provoking pieces shot from the far flung corners of the globe.

The festival splits a number of film shorts into two series of films playing on alternate evenings and on the night we’re going the Blue Programme will be shown. Films are listed at https://www.banff-uk.com/films and cover a wide range of mountain sports, so there should be something in there for everyone, whichever way you like to get your adrenalin rush!

For this event, you will need to book your own ticket in advance directly through the venue/ ticketing provider’s website (see ‘How to book’ section below). Once you have done this, please sign up to the event as usual so that the event leader can look out for you on the night. 

The screening itself takes place in the grand surroundings of an old chapel that is now used as a gig venue and film screenings. Seating consists of the original wooden church pews and is unreserved.

After the screening, there will be the option to visit a local pub to share the experience, exchange opinions, catch up with friends… and who knows, maybe even to plan your next adventure?

How to Book

Please book your own tickets before signing up to the event. You can not book tickets through the OutdoorLads website, nor should you give money to the leader directly.
